On October 5th 2021, we went on a trip to shoreditch. This was my first time in shoreditch. I was pleasantly surprised by the street art. There was street art everywhere and it was all unique. I loved taking pictures of the art and walk around and admiring the interesting images. I particularly enjoyed walking in Brick Lane because I found the best art there and I saw many people with cool outfits. After the South Kensington trip, I was not nervous to approach people and ask them if I could take their picture. I definitely became more confident in myself. I found it interesting how the street art was very political and expressive. I liked how the art made a statement.
I noticed how differently people dress in South Kensington compared to Shoreditch. The people in South Kensington had a very classy, cool, and chic style while Shoreditch was more edgy, grungy, and streetwear-esc. During this trip, I learned a lot about how vintage markets and shops work and how they price their products. I noticed that prices are cheaper in shoreditch and stores were more cluttered and messy compared to Harrods and the shops on Sloane street. I enjoyed this trip very much and collected sufficient data for my shop reports and my customer profile.
